Today, on March 18, 2025, the "Family Skills" cooking competition was held at the Taldykorgan Service and Technology College in collaboration with the "Children's Palace" in Taldykorgan city (@balaalemi.kz) as part of the "Year of Skilled Workers." The competition involved students from local schools in Taldykorgan. The participants were students from the "Chef" club at the "Children's Palace" and their mothers and sisters.
The purpose of the competition was to promote skilled trades among students, develop culinary skills, and enhance family values by spending time together with parents.
The competition consisted of two modules:

"Cooking" — preparing "Chicken dish and canapé."

"Confectionery" — making "Cupcake" dessert.

The participants showcased their culinary skills and completed the tasks assigned in each module. The city competition not only focused on food preparation but also assessed the participants' creativity and teamwork abilities.
At the end of the competition, all participants received certificates and diplomas, and the best chefs were awarded special prizes. The organizers of the event aim to inspire students towards professional careers and increase demand for their knowledge and skills in society through such events. The Taldykorgan Service and Technology College plans to continue organizing similar interesting and important events in the future.
